About Me

Understanding leads to meaning
Meaning leads to purpose
Purpose leads to resolve

Since obtaining my Masters degree in 2003 I worked as a Psychologist in variety of roles in the Perth Metro Area.

Areas of work include corporate employee assistance work, government program development, corrective services, suicide prevention, clinical governance, and non-government agency clinical work.

Drawing on practicality, analysis and skills training, I assist clients to have a greater sense of self-compassion and self-acceptance.

My preferred form of interventions include mindfulness, cognitive behaviour therapy and analysis of past and present family dynamics to provide clients with both an understanding of their problem and the skills to help manage the difficulties they face.

I find it can be beneficial to explore the existential or spiritual foundations that my clients present with and incorporate these into the work. I am a warm and compassionate therapist and slow to judge.  My focus is on gaining a good understanding of the issue.

I can help with mood issues, relationship difficulties, parenting, grief and loss and work stressors.
